The European insfrastructure for spectroscoapy, scattering and imaging of soft Matter (EUSMI) which receives financial support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 731019 has set out foster academic research and innovation in soft nanotechnology by providing a multidisciplinary set of essential research capabilities and expertise to guide users, developing the next generation of techniques and instruments to synthesize, characterize, and numerically simulate novel soft matter materials and contributing to the creation of a broad knowledge basis.

The EUSMI consortium comprises 23 beneficiaries EUSMI does not have a legal personality on its own. Therefore Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH acts as the project coordinator as the intermediary to the European Commission and as the administrator of the network.

Neither the Coordinator, nor any of its representatives is entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of the Parties to the Network altogether or on behalf of a single Party.
